'Half monk, half bad boy,' is how Poulenc was sometimes characterized in his day. In his concerto for organ, string orchestra and timpani, these two sides of Poulenc alternate repeatedly. The solemn opening, which refers to Bach's Fantasia g-moll (BWV 542) shows Poulenc's serious side.

Celebrating Saint-Saëns is a project in which a young talented soloist and a young ambitious orchestra are introduced to the monumental symphonic work of Camille Saint-Saëns: the Symphony 3 in c minor from 1886, opus 78, nicknamed "the Organ Symphony.
